Abstract
Purpose: This research was designed to figure out the correlation between 3 variables of dissociated phoria and associated phoria: x-intercept indicating associated phoria, y-intercept indicating fixation disparity and slope of fixation disparity curve, and to figure lateral fixation disparity curve and vertical fixation disparity curve with obtained data.
Methods: The 91 subjectives (corrected visual acuity 1.0 or higher)had no eye diseases and their forced vergence fixation disparity was measured at near distance usings Wesson fixation disparity card.

Result: Researching the type of near fixation disparity curve results showed that the most common type was type III, the second most common type was type I, the third most common type was type IV, and the least common type was type II. The smallest group of subjects and unstable type 2 and 4 were excluded from the experiment. Based on the correlation between 1, 3 type of slope, dissociated phoria, associated phoria and fixation disparity, X-intercept (associated phoria) was the most highly correlated with dissociated phoria about r=0.692, p=0.00, the Y-intercept was the second highly correlated with associated phoria about r=0.539, p=0.00. As a result, this research demonstrated that fixation disparity (Y-intercept) measured at near distance had a close correlation with associated phoria, X-intercept. Because vertical fusional area was narrow and vertical fixation disparity curve was more steep than lateral fixation disparity curve.

Conclusion: The forced vergence fixation disparity curve was obtained by prism, associated phoria and dissociated phoria, associated phoria and fixation disparity was highly correlated. Vertical fusional area was more narrow than lateral fixation disparity curve.
